The Solution
Esperanza Community Cabins shares the Mayor's goal. Our company has an immediate solution to this crisis: we can deliver 5,000 8x20ft units for placement throughout Los Angeles in six months, with each unit providing temporary housing to two individuals. Within the first 90 days, our company can deliver 1,500 units for immediate placement at designated sites across the city.
Each 8x20 unit can be split in half, creating two 8x10ft cabins. Within less than 6 months, we can start sheltering thousands of unhoused Angelenos in those cabins (each measuring 80 sqft):

In 90 days, our company can have 1,500 8x20ft units delivered to Los Angeles, so we can create villages with ancillary services at designated sites across the city. Splitting each one in half would create 3,000 cabins, which can house 3,000 Angelenos.

During months 3-6, our company can deliver an additional 3,5000 8x20ft units to villages throughout the City of Los Angeles for a total of 5,000 units delivered in six months. Those units, when split into cabins, would be 10,000 cabins in six months, housing 10,000 Angelenos.

Each village will offer wraparound services including: warm meals, showers, lavatories, laundry facilities, mental health support, counseling, drug addiction treatment, career programs, and a transition to permanent housing. Designated sections or whole villages can be designed for individuals with varying needs, whether they are women, families, seniors, or single men.
